10月7日，美国宾州顶尖文理学院哈弗福德学院（Haverford College）校长在一份声明中证实，该校一名华裔教授因涉嫌网络骚扰与恐吓被捕并被起诉。
根据哈弗福德学院校长温蒂·雷蒙德（Wendy Raymond）发布的信息，该名教授叫哈光甜（Guangtian Ha，音译）已被停职，并且“在刑事诉讼程序进行期间被禁止进入校园”。
校长指出，学校代表已与受害者取得联系，并称这些“带有反犹太主义性质的网络攻击极其恶劣”。
根据9月30日向宾州东区联邦地区法院提交的起诉书，哈光甜涉嫌于2025年10月9日至2026年5月20日期间，使用至少4个不同的 X（前 Twitter）账号”向受害者发送了约50条信息，其中包含大量威胁性及反犹太主义的言论。
校长在声明中表示，身为该校宗教学教授的哈光甜，目前正处于学术休假（sabbatical leave）中，本学年并未承担教学工作。
声明中说，对哈光甜发布的言论深感不安，并明确表明，“任何形式基于身份的骚扰或歧视都是不可接受的，这违背了我们的价值观，在哈弗福德学院绝无容身之处”。
根据美国“保罗与凯伦·利维校园自由研究员”（Paul & Karen Levy Fellow in Campus Freedom) Steve McGuire博士的推文，哈光甜因涉嫌网络跟踪（cyberstalking）一名犹太同事被捕并被起诉。

Posing as a MAGA anon on X, he allegedly messaged another Haverford professor around 50 times between October 2025 and May 2026. In addition to posting vile antisemitic messages (see below), he allegedly posted his colleague’s “home address, infant child’s name, a photograph of the family’s mailbox, countless antisemitic slurs and threats, and reference to real-time observation of their home.” The target’s wife twice moved out of the home with their three children because they were so terrified. Ha is a member of Faculty for Justice in Palestine. He has called complaints about antisemitism on campus “Zionist witch hunts.” Originally from China, he is an associate professor of religion at Haverford who studies Islam in China. He holds a PhD in anthropology from Columbia. His dissertation is entitled, “Religion of the Father: Islam, Gender, and Politics of Ethnicity in Late Socialism.” He won the 2023 Clifford Geertz Prize in the Anthropology of Religion for his book, The Sound of Salvation: Voice, Gender, and the Sufi Mediascape in China. He is “charged with one count of cyberstalking pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2261A(2). The statutory maximum for cyberstalking is five years’ imprisonment, three years of supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.” Here are some of the messages he posted (brace yourself): “Jew, get the f**k out of my country” “Jew pig, get the f**k out of Lower Merion” “If jews are so special then they should also be placed in special camps and receive special treatments” “LM jews are going to have it big time, jew. Remember this. You scums have had it too easy. Goyim are taking America back, blood-guzzling demons.” “@[Victim 1] Eliminate the jewish cockroaches. Exterminate the jewish state. [Victim 1], you will have nowhere to go. Your family has no future in the US. There shall be a sign.” After the victim took security precautions: “@[Victim 1] The goyim have woken up, jew. Run. Flee. Leave. Blurring your home on google map and installing a security camera next to your mailbox won’t help.” “[Victim 1], the jewish state will stop existing, whether you like it or not, which is why as an Israeli zio jew you want to recreate america in ‘iSrAeL’s’ image. 除了发布极具仇恨色彩的反犹太言论外，哈还在网上公布了同事的家庭住址、幼儿名字、家庭邮筒照片、无数的反犹侮辱与威胁，并提及对同事家庭的实时监控。由于极度恐惧，受害人的妻子两次带着三个孩子搬离家园。
消息称，哈是“巴勒斯坦正义教职工组织”（Faculty for Justice in Palestine）的成员。他曾将针对校园反犹主义的投诉称为“ Zion主义者的猎巫行动”。
消息称，哈光甜来自中国，主要研究中国的伊斯兰教。
哈光甜拥有哥伦比亚大学的人类学博士学位，讽刺的是，他曾凭借着作《救赎之声：中国的声音、性别与苏非媒介景观》获得了2023年人类学宗教研究领域的克利福德·格尔茨奖（Clifford Geertz Prize）。
