越常用的缩写越容易出错，怕出糗的你快来看看这篇文章！
1.举例来说：e.g.
学单字、片语的时候一定会看到很多例句，作笔记的时候是否就顺手写了“e.x."呢？其实这是错的！
举例来说是 for instance/for example，必须写成 e.g.
这是是拉丁文 exempli gratia的缩写，常见的 e.x.是完全错误的写法喔！
至于 ex.则是名词，是 example的缩写。
另外，e.g.通常只用于书写，口语上还是以 for example/instance为主。
Johnny likes various music genres, e.g., classical, rock, and jazz.
=Johnny likes various music genres, for example, classical, rock, and jazz.
强尼喜欢各种不同类型的音乐，例如：经典、摇滚、爵士乐。

来看看第二个例子。
2.对决：vs./ vs/ v.

想说 A对决 B的时候我们常常会用到 vs.但你是不是不知不觉就写错了呢？这个字是 versus的缩写，可以写成 vs.或 vs或 v.，就是绝对不能写 v.s.！
3.等等：etc.

看到“etc."千万不要一个字一个字念！它是拉丁文 et cetera的缩写，相当于 and so on/ and so forth.
注意标点符号的使用！
It would be great if you could bring cakes, buns, donuts, etc. to the picnic.
=It would be great if you could bring cakes, buns, donuts and so on to the picnic.
若你来野餐的时候能带些蛋糕、小圆面包、甜甜圈等等的话，那就太棒了！
4.换句话说：i.e.
相当于 in other words或 that is to say，指在陈述同一件事，但想用不同的方式进一步说明，因此跟“举例”的 e.g.是不同的喔！不要搞错了。
It’s a boot which is synthetic, i.e., not leather.
这双靴子是人工皮，也就是说他不是真皮。
5.也就是：aka
aka是 also known as的缩写，意思是“也就是”，注意不要写成 a.k.a啰！
aka跟 i.e.不一样的地方在于，aka用在两个对等的事物，而 i.e.则有进一步补充说明的意思。
Steve Ervin, aka The Crocodile Hunter, died after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb.
Steve Ervin，也就是鳄鱼先生，在被魔鬼鱼的毒钩刺入胸部后身亡。
6.有限公司：Co., Ltd/ CO., LTD.
有限公司是 company limited，可以写成 Co., Ltd或 CO., LTD.标点符号部分一定要仔细注意唷！
